n "The Magus" (1801) Francis Barrett writes that "if a perfume is made of calamint, piony, mint, and palma christi, it drives away all evil spirits and vain imaginations". Perfume once referred to incense, or smoke (fume/fumigate), and not the  bottles of scent we know today. This legendary mixture is recreated and offered here, to banish foul and loathsome spirits from your presence.
