Abra Melin Oil
Azzerac's
Notes: How many times have you seen it
in stores, or read of it in catalogues, and wondered what you'd use it for? It's
a recipe from "The Book of Sacred Magic of Abra Melin the Mage", which was in
turn based on the ancient formula "The Oil of Tanakh". One can find slightly
varying versions in each of the three translations of the manuscript, but each
draw their source from the pages of the bible. This was an anointing oil used in
ceremony in the Jerusalem Temple.
Popular among High-Magic practitioners for conjuring & pacifying spirits of all sorts, Abra Melin attributed the power of flight, treasure-finding, invisibility, and the ability to cast effective love spells to this ancient formula,. It is most frequently used for anointing, consecrating implements for High Magic ceremonies, and (Popularized by Aleister Crowley) is often warn by Thelemites as a daily-use cologne.
The incense was and remains a staple of ceremonial magic, for the ritual cleansing of your work space, and a preparatory purifying scent before conjuration.
We take great care in choosing our recipes for each, from their earliest, and most reliable source.
