We of L & L are a small group of herbalists, alchemists, witches, wizards, and Wyrdfolk dedicated to bringing traditional supplies and uncommon creations to the magic using community. Our formulas are firmly rooted in tradition, our talismans painstakingly recreated from historic reference works, our spell components and articles drawn from numerous texts, both historic and contemporary, and our artists work their mediums into unique objects for your personal altars and attire.

Devices and amulets are cast from molds, in limited edition. Shaped candles are castings as well. Most articles of clothing will draw from patterns, varying in materials. Otherwise, what you draw from this site will be the finest in historical accuracy that our minds, hands and skills can shape into unique objects for your personal practice.

Mission Statement

        As a much needed alternative to mass produced plastic replicas, we hand craft magical and occult supplies in the Old World tradition, with a strong emphasis on personalized magical tools. Everything that we offer is a one of a kind or limited edition print or casting. We are NOT a factory, but a group of skilled artisans.

        Our formulas for incense and oils are recreated from ancient manuscripts, reference reputable modern authors, or are a product of our own experiments in the Craft of the Wise. We use only true essential oils, and all natural and organic resins and herbs in our formulas. The emphasis we place on astrological conditions, small batches and individually crafted tools allow us to make Earth-friendly, ethical, and effective products.

        Any tool you see on this website containing bone is deadfall, location and details provided on request. However, this also contributes to the relative unavailability of such products. We will not kill any animal for the mere sake of a tool, nor will we blow out the side of a mountain to acquire a "power crystal". It is in keeping with our ethics that the method in which the tool was acquired or made directly influences its performance and effectiveness.
