You’ll learn from step-by-step depictions of martial arts styles, yoga postures, and workout plans, or the accompanying Chinese and European Mysticism primers. From “How To Find Emergency Shelter in a Blizzard”, to “How to Entertain Children on a Long Road Trip”, It’s In There!

        The author, a man who chooses to be known only as Zeek (and sometime as Shen-Ku), has a biography akin to a Jules Verne character. Loosing the sight in one eye at the age of 15, surfing off the coast of Africa, and told he would loose the other in rapid succession, he soon after fled home to see the seas. Over 50 years old, and still doing 70 One-Handed Pushups, this man not only has a degree in the school of hard-knocks, but is it’s prime tenured professor.

Why would I bother endorsing this text on an Occult Site?

        Aside from the fact that there are whole sections dedicated to worldwide mystical arts, it emphasizes the need for health, appearance, longevity, and yes, a Healthy Sexual Appetite & Lifestyle. These aspects of life are sorely missing from the modern pop-witchcraft movement, and this book brings it to you in light-hearted, insightful, playful, and (most importantly) easy to incorporate style: No “Hard to swallow” mandates, or “Sink or Swim” threats. It’s all brought to you like snippets from a comic book, following the exploits and skills of a few dozen memorable & creative characters, from Siamese Sailors to Swedish supermodels. The presentation chimes-in with your inner child, and let’s you know that others can do great things, even if they are the outcast you’ve always thought yourself to be. Whether people from his past or Figments from fever dreams, these characters bring to life skills & knowledge, while the author wraps their exploits in the wit & wisdom only a life rich with experience can present.

        This is what a book of shadows is meant to be. It's as unique as the person who composed it, it's as rich as the life they live, and it's as informative as living that life for yourself. It isn't all-about-spells, as it is about The Stuff That Works. It's not a One-Note Flute, but an orchestra of life-experience.

My personal confession: After experiencing the wisdom of “The Anatomy Coloring Book”, I took my set of pencils to this text and my memories of the info are all the stronger for it. I suggest you do the same. No one learns like a child, and nothing brings that child out like Coloring Books (or maybe chocolate).
