"This is
not a black & white world.
To get along, the colors must swirl.
We must all learn to appreciate,
The Beauty of Grey."
~Live, "Mental Jewelry", "The Beauty of Grey"
Have we
mastered "Sensing Chaos" yet?
Well, if not, take your time.
Rushing=Failure!
Repeated Failure creates the Habit of Failure.
It's the same with every technique we cover here. If you don't think you've delved a topic deeply enough, you'll just be sabotaging yourself to rush to keep up with these posts. This Time, doubly so! If you can't press the difference of your perceived Order vs Perceived Chaos, you can't impress one to the other, by force of will.
The beauty of dealing with these applications is that, as they require little to no components, as of yet, they can be applied to almost any situation, and with whatever tools are readily accessible. If you can remember the exercises printed here, you can employ them regularly in various situations.
"Think 'Round Corners" can be performed anywhere there is an obstructed view. The real issue is to NOT look, until you've "Scanned" & "Pinged" the other side.
The difference is this: Once you've sensed that "Grey Area", decide what you want to see there. Hold the Image in your head. Impress that Image onto the "Chaos" of that Grey area.
When I perform this task, the sensation is like pressing my brain, not skull but brain, into a sheet of rubber. The same sensation of disorientation, force, resistance and then "BAMF"! The pressure drops, a sense of fading dizziness passes over me and is quickly gone. When I open my eyes, The Image Manifests in reality. Any variations between the two appear directly related to clarity of image, fluctuations in self-esteme (Will::, and the actual completion of the process.
How un-likely the event or item manifested is to occur seems to be represented in the impression of "Thickness" of that rubber sheet. The more likely, the thinner the "Threshold. The less likely, the harder the sense of resistance.
This is
NOT where I suggest starting. This is something to work up to.
My advice is to start with minor changes, before "Nipping",
big-time!
There are two variables that directly improve your Nipping
Successes: Commonality & Time.
Start off easy!
Think of a somewhat common object, with crystal clarity. Visualize it perfectly. Impress it, not upon a specific area, but "Within The Day". Common objects are more probable. A Whole Day Time-Frame gives greater period to the bell-curve of the wave-form. It's easier to push.
Skeptics may assess that this makes it too easy, but once again, develop before you
This is Baby-Steps, but we should build confidence, with the smaller steps, before we try to take-off into flight. On the next day, picture another object, this time with certain imperfections. Focus clearly on those imperfections. Make sure those imperfections are clear in your mind. You will find that the aspects you visualize clearly will be present in the manifested object, and those you waffled on will only partly manifest. When you can visualize with picture-perfect clarity, your results will be more astonishing!
Example: Visualize a Medium Mac Donald's Soda Cup. You know the wax-paper ones they've always had. Visualize it clearly, and distinctly. Visualize it's circumstances: On the ground. How is it setting? Picture it in pristine condition. Decide whether it contains anything.
A common object in a common state.
Next, picture it discarded, on it's side, and half-crushed. What does it look like? Be certain. Force it to appear in your day.
As you improve in your results, restrict them to either a specific time-frame, or earlier & earlier times from the moment of manipulation. Also, you can "Push" more odd objects or more bizarre occurrences (certain spoken phrases, weird people, etc) to take place.
Next Time, I think we should start Applying These to Spell Works!~
Suggested Reading: "Nine Princes in Amber", by Roger Zelazny. Just the first book. After I'd been performing these "Nipping" & "Pushing" feats for ten years, someone handed me his book list. It was amazingly similar.
(Just wait until we reach "Hell Riding, Standing-Still"!!)
