(Brought To You By,...)

“We look, and it changes, because we looked at it”. ~Chris Johnston, “Next”

Personal Perspectives:

Reality is never what you think it is, be it as trivial as life changing social events, or as profound as the every-day moment of an electron in a hydrogen atom shifting orbits due to thermal state changes. The difference is what they become, because we examine them. Our personal perspectives affect our realities, and the realities of others. By changing how you look at the world, the world changes.

The thing to remember here is that there are countless ways of looking at any situation, just within a single individual. The larger the reality-model (multi-form way of looking at the world) the greater ability one has to see the ‘chinks in the armor’ of reality, the physical world, and the probability of events, so that one can enforce their will with the greatest effectiveness. As well, the spell caster can pare away at the mental models that disagree with the end result, so as to focus & enforce a more agreeable model upon reality, without the distractions of other models. This does lead us to the Law of Paradoxical Reality Models (Linear Time vs “Tao Time” vs Dreamtime, etc). We’ll look deeper into that as these sections evolve.

Everyone has a subjective world-view that is then inflicted upon the objective world. Observation creates Reality. Expectation predicts/dictates Observation. Model precludes Expectation. Change the model and you change reality.

            …if you’re alone, that is.

Infinite Perspectives

What this law pertains to, mostly, is OTHER peoples’ perspectives.

It’s a bit of a misnomer. “Immeasurable” would be a better adjective.

The problem we face is when other people’s perspectives come into play. The consensus sees the world, and the result is an average, a metaphysical “bell curve” of how many believe what, and how strongly.  Thanks to mass media, not only do reality models develop a wide “Bell Curve” of believers, but they also shift dramatically. One popular song, movie, or book can shift the way the world looks to so many as to destabilize a paradigm. One news story can bring a topic to popular modality, and one weeks’ virtue is another weeks’ vice. One man experiments with light shining through a pair of slots, and the world goes from “Newtonian” to “Schrödingerian” over night.

The worldview, in any given area and regardless of size, can literally become micro-realities, not too dissimilar from microclimates. A number of people, gathered together with a desired & expected outcome, will get that outcome, without any discernable single cause. This leads us to…

Cumulative Realities:

This is the Coven Factor. It’s what rules the séance, the ‘light-as-a-feather” effects, and even the Ouija Board. This is the subjective reality crossover, where one person’s perception of others, within a circle, adds to the effectiveness of the whole. Person A sees Person B as more powerful, and their intrinsic faith in Person B adds to the efficacy. Person B sees C as more powerful, and both add to C. C sees A & B as more powerful, and the cycle builds. More people mean a greater compound perspective. This isn’t a mathematical formula, as much as the Tel-empathic Perceptions (Mind-Reading) I’ve received while circles are in progress. As confidence builds, the power builds. As the power builds, so does the confidence. The proverbial snake eating it’s tail, only growing its tail even faster!

Not only is it an issue of confidence (Will Plus Faith) within a circle. It’s also the other mechanisms, which increase afterwards because of it. This leads to even greater manifestations. A case in point was a test group that was refined by a spiritualist research organization, back in the 70’s. (I’ll site the source of this data, as I get my library straightened out. ~Wince!~). The group was refined down to the most powerful & effective members. Once the researchers were confident with their test group, they threw them a curve. They Made-Up a ghost, someone who (as far as they knew) had never existed. Just as with other ghost-summonings, the results were impressive. Sounds, smells, objects moving, and more were manifest. Was it an (incredibly unlikely) lucky guess about a real ghost, or was the group “Coven-ing” (Compounding their natural talents into impressive effects)?

I can’t say which I would find more impressive: The researchers Lucky-Guessing, or the group Creating an Entity, or at least the effects of an entity, out of thin air?

THAT is subjective Reality for you!

(NOTE: I realize that this page is three days late, and I’ll make sure A) I catch Up, and B) Safeguard against an encore!)
